Hi, You voted for which systems should join Hero’s Codex, and now that both stretch goals have been unlocked, we can officially reveal the winners:
- Daggerheart
- Call of Cthulhu
That brings Hero’s Codex to 4 supported game systems, alongside D&D 5E and Pathfinder Second Edition.
And we’ve already been working on the new side panels, so let’s show you what they look like!
Daggerheart UNLOCKED!
Daggerheart was one of the winners of your vote, and its game-system stretch goal has now officially been unlocked.
We’ve designed a completely dedicated pair of side panels around the resources and values you’ll want close at hand during play.
The current design includes tracking for:
- Traits
- Level, Proficiency and Evasion
- Major and Severe Damage Thresholds
- Conditions
- Hope
- HP
- Stress
- Armor
- Gold
Call of Cthulhu UNLOCKED!
The second winner of the community vote was Call of Cthulhu and this stretch goal has been unlocked too!
Its side panels have been designed specifically around the information an investigator needs to keep track of during a game.
The current design includes:
- Sanity
- Cthulhu Mythos
- Luck
- Hit Points
- Magic Points
- Conditions
- Characteristics
- Combat values
- Investigation skills
So both of the systems you selected in our previous poll are no longer just possibilities.
They are officially unlocked and will be added to your reward for FREE! 🎉
Hero’s Codex now supports 4 game systems
Daggerheart and Call of Cthulhu join the two systems that were already part of Hero’s Codex:
D&D 5E
Pathfinder Second Edition
That means the current lineup is now:
D&D 5E
Pathfinder Second Edition
Daggerheart
Call of Cthulhu
Four systems, each with its own dedicated tracking panels.
And remember: these panels are completely optional and interchangeable. Hero’s Codex holds two side panels, and you decide what goes on each side.
Each side can hold:
- any one of the 8 game-system tracking panels shown above
- a card-storage panel
- or a dice-set storage panel
So you can use a complete matching pair for your favorite system, mix panels from different systems, or skip tracking panels altogether and use the sides for extra storage.
You voted for more add-ons too...
Game systems weren’t the only thing we asked about in our previous survey.
Many of you also told us that you wanted to see more of our previous projects available as add-ons during the campaign.
So we listened.
More past projects have now been added as Hero’s Codex add-ons!
If there was one of our previous STL releases you missed, take another look, it may now be available directly through this campaign.
And, of course, every additional pledge upgrade also helps move the campaign closer to the remaining stretch goals...
...including that €41.5k fifth game system. 👀
And next week: new inserts!
The side panels aren’t the only part of Hero’s Codex that has been growing.
In our next update next week, we’ll be revealing the new inserts being added to the Codex, including designs shaped by the feedback and votes from our previous survey.
More ways to organize it. More ways to customize it. And more options for building a Hero’s Codex around the way you play.
See you in the next update!
